I am a professional, independent, civil celebrant based in Tameside, Greater Manchester. I cover the local area and other regional areas such as Stockport, Oldham, and Glossop, as well as parts of Cheshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire (travel expenses may apply).

I came into this profession - initially - because of my own experience in attending funerals that were mostly very impersonal. Then I went to some beautiful ones conducted by humanist celebrants, and learned how important that experience was in saying goodbye. I wanted to help make that kind of difference for others. My work has now extended into other ceremonies for love and life, as well as end-of-life.

 

As a journalist of over a decade, I have excellent writing skills that contribute to crafting a beautiful and memorable ceremony script, to provide lasting memories. I am life-centred in my approach, and because I am a civil celebrant, I can offer you a ceremony that reflects your beliefs and values.
