The celebration of your love for another is one of the most momentous occasions in your whole life, and should be a very special day. Whether you desire a wedding ceremony, commitment ceremony, blessing, renewal of vows, hand-fasting, or another ceremony for any other type of love occasion (since love can be an open book!), I can help you create that perfect day.
If your commitment is to include a legal binding, that being a marriage or civil partnership, then it is possible to visit the registrar beforehand (the same day, or many days earlier) for the simple ceremony at a nominal fee to do the 'legal bit'. After the registrar appointment, you can have your personalised and unique ceremony with myself, and make this your big day. You may not require a legalised marriage, of course, and may simply desire your a symbolic commitment ceremony to be your wedding day.
Whether including the legalised aspect or not, the beauty of choosing myself as a civil celebrant means you can have a far more individualised ceremony, which can take place wherever you like.
Fees:
A standard package is £390.*
This is for most love ceremonies lasting around half an hour, such as a wedding, renewal of vows, and commitment ceremony. I will spend approximately 1.5 to 2 hours with you on the 'big day'.
The fee includes:
~ Initial meeting to create your bespoke ceremony
~ Further contact as needed via email/phone
~ Help finding poems, readings & creating vows
~ A draft script of the ceremony for your approval
~ Ceremony rehearsal at home or venue*
~ Conducting your ceremony on the day
~ A personalised copy of your ceremony to keep as a memory of your special day
Fees for other individual arrangements, including bank holiday weddings, are negotiable. Non-refundable booking fee of £100 to be paid to confirm the booking, which is deductible from the final balance.
