memorable end-of-life ceremonies

I am a fully qualified Civil Funeral Celebrant, holding the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy (RCF). This means that I have achieved the highest possible qualification in funeral celebrancy, and am able to deal with the creation and delivery of a funeral or other end-of-life ceremony with respect, sensitivity and empathy.

I can work with you to create a meaningful funeral ceremony, memorial service, or scattering-of-ashes ceremony that is unique to the person that you loved, and which represents your own values and beliefs. This could be entirely humanist or non-religious ceremony, but it could also include religious elements like hymns or prayers, if you would that. Even if those beliefs are less

mainstream, like Pagan or Buddhist. My ethos is on delivering a ceremony which is reflective of YOUR beliefs and wishes, and no one else's.

I am a member and supporter of the Natural Death Centre and have committed to the pledge:

"As a celebrant who shares the values of the Natural Death Centre Charity, I see my role as supportive rather than directive, and I undertake to offer my services to help each family I work with, to ensure they have the best possible funeral for the person who has died."

Fees:

Normally, I am booked through a funeral director for any cremation or burial funeral ceremonies. In which case, the fee is paid to me via the funeral director as part of the funeral package charged to the client.

However, if you would like me to take care of the ceremony for the funeral you are arranging, you may also make contact with me whether or not you are using a funeral director.

For individually organised funeral ceremonies, please contact me for fee guidance.*

For other end-of-life ceremonies like a memorial, please contact me for more information.

*Travel expenses may be applicable.
